HALAL Certification from HFA (Halal Food Authority)

Regency Mowbray are certified by the Halal Food Authority for the production of ingredients suitable for use in Halal finished products. Regular inspections by the Authority ensure that all products appearing on the Certificate are passed as Halal. Our Halal products cover the majority of our Standard Product list.

The HFA audit for endorsement purposes comprises of ingredients, method and process of manufacture, labelling, storage and most of all, method of sanitation, cleaning of equipment and compliance of the current HACCP food and hygiene laws in vogue.

The word 'halal' literally means 'permissible' - and in translation it is usually used as lawful.

The Halal food Authority rules for Halal are based on Islamic Shari'ah. Opposite to Halal is haram, which means unlawful or forbidden.
