Most manufacturers produce 1 variety of Stracciatella. Regency Mowbray produce 4 varieties.
Stracciatella comes in solid form but its characteristic low melting point means it can easily be re-melted for application either in Chocolate melters or even Microwave Ovens. (See instructions on label of product). Once melted it can be poured into Ice Cream or Sorbet just before freezing which produces 'shards' of Stracciatella creating both an appealing look to the product and adding extra taste sensations to the Ice Cream or Sorbet.
With the 4 choices in the Stracciatella range and the large number of flavours available for your Ice Cream or Sorbet with our Aroma Allettante flavour pastes, the options for different taste variations are almost limitless.
Try Plain Stracciatella in Strawberry Ice Cream, Chocolate Orange Stracciatella with Cappuccino or Pineapple Ice Cream. Stracciatella is also suitable for use in Frozen Yoghurt products.
For decorative and taste purposes the Stracciatella can be poured over Ice Cream or Sorbet, either just before serving or in Napoli trays when displaying in freezer units.
